Under the influence of the low-pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal off the Tamil Nadu coast, isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal and Kerala during 21–25 October. Heavy rainfall is also likely over parts of South Peninsular India and Lakshadweep during 21–27 October.
